The Studio at Arbour Blooms · Corduff, Lusk
The Studio at Arbour Blooms sits on Tanners Foliage Farm in Corduff, Lusk, surrounded by forty acres of eucalyptus. It is a place to slow down, work with your hands, walk the rows outside the door and experience flowers where growing, making and creativity all meet.
The studio
The Studio is part of Arbour Blooms, but it was never meant to feel like a classroom. Johnny created it on Tanner’s family farm as a warm, generous space where people could come together, get away from their usual routine and spend a few hours doing something with their hands.
The room is finished in natural timbers and is on the forty acre eucalyptus Farm. On many of our days, you’ll leave the studio, walk through the rows and cut foliage before bringing it back inside to work with. That connection between the farm and the flowers is a big part of what makes the experience special.
Whether you come on your own, with a friend or with your team, the idea is simple: arrive, switch off for a while, learn something new and leave having made something you are genuinely proud of.
Two ways to learn
Some people come because they have always wanted to learn. Others come because their team needs time together away from screens, meetings and the usual routine. Both are welcome here.
Weekly evenings & Wednesday course
For anyone who loves flowers and wants the pleasure of working with them properly. Join us for one relaxed evening, a Saturday at the farm, or spend six weeks building real confidence and skill.
Team days & private events
Time away from the office, with a purpose. Our team days are built around making, conversation and the simple pleasure of doing something completely different together — with the eucalyptus fields just outside the studio door.
Evening classes
Come after work, put the day down for a while and spend the evening with flowers. We’ll guide you from the first stem to the finished piece, with tea and coffee on arrival and something beautiful to take home at the end.
Places are booked through the calendar below. Groups of six or more, get in touch and we’ll open an evening just for you.
Saturday half day
Part workshop, part escape from the week. We’ll begin in the fields, come back to the studio for a demonstration and light lunch, then give you the time and guidance to make your own arrangement to take home.
Tea, coffee and a proper welcome. An introduction with Johnny and Shanda, Shanda will be leading today’s demonstration, and to Arbour Blooms — over thirty years in the flower business, supplying all of Ireland. We started growing eucalyptus ourselves ten years ago on a very small scale, and today we export it right across Europe.
We’ll head outside and walk the eucalyptus rows together — a chance to slow down, breathe, and see where the foliage we use actually begins.
Back in the studio, we’ll gather around for a floral demonstration and light lunch. The eucalyptus from the farm becomes part of the design, bringing the outside story back into the room.
Then it is your turn. Take your place at the bench, choose your materials and create your own arrangement with guidance close at hand whenever you need it.
We’ll wrap your finished design for the journey home and finish the day together.

Tanners Foliage Farm
One of the things that makes this place different is the setting. The farm is part of the experience — the rows, the scale, the scent and the chance to step outside and see where the foliage begins.
The six week course
This is for the person who wants more than a lovely evening out. Across six sessions, we’ll build your knowledge step by step, so you begin to understand flowers, mechanics and design rather than simply follow instructions.
Where flowers come from, how to condition them properly, and how to work with less waste.
The hand-tied bouquet from the ground up, and how to build one that holds its shape.
Sympathy work done with care — wreaths, and the tributes people ask for most.
Designing for a table: proportion, height, and what actually works to sit around.
Working in glass, and planted designs that go on living after the week is over.
Finishing the course as the season turns, with door wreaths and Christmas work.
Corporate days
No presentations. No forced team-building. Just good food, fresh air, flowers, conversation and time to make something together. Choose a half day, our Signature Creative Day, or let us build something around your team.
The space
The Studio has been designed so everyone feels part of what is happening. Demonstrations are close enough to see properly, the worktables give everyone their own space, and the atmosphere stays relaxed and personal whether you are here for a workshop or a team day.
Tea, coffee and a warm welcome to the farm. We’ll share a little of the story behind Arbour Blooms, Tanner’s and the eucalyptus growing outside the studio before introducing the day ahead.

Back to the studio for Shanda’s demonstration, with a light lunch alongside it. Working with bio oasis foam and our own eucalyptus — the same foliage you’ll have just walked through in the fields — we’ll build a full arrangement together, then use the off-cuts to make a set of six bottles.

September 2026
The first Studio dates begin in September 2026. Groups will stay intentionally small, giving everyone the space to enjoy the flowers, the farm and the experience properly.
