About Arbour Blooms

Why are flowers a great gift to give?

Why are flowers a great gift to give?
Flowers make a great gift because they can mean different things for different occasions or circumstances. For example, a bouquet of blooms can signal romance, appreciation, gratitude and celebration. However, equally the gift of flowers can be a touching and respectful way to extend sympathy and condolences or mark an occasion of gravitas.

Indeed, the most common reasons for ordering flowers online include:

Reason aside, flowers are one of the most accommodating and flexible gift ideas in other ways. For instance, the seemingly infinite choice of colour and texture means you surely will find something to please everyone. If you don’t know the recipient very well, you can play it safe with a reasonably neutral, albeit every bit exquisite, bouquet.

Why buy flowers from Arbour Blooms?

With over 25 years of experience in the floral industry, we have a terrifically talented team of 20 florists, and we’re a proud member of Interflora™. Our team excels in customer service and is dedicated to creating a top-quality experience for you and the person receiving your thoughtful gift. Moreover, our award-winning floristry business specialises in creating beautiful bouquets using only the freshest flowers, so you have complete peace of mind your gift will be as stunning and long-lasting as it is thoughtful.

How are the flowers packaged?

Flowers are presented in a traditionally shaped floral bouquet wrapped in complementary coloured paper with a protective sheet of eco-friendly packaging.

How do you keep the flowers protected when in transit?

One of our drivers hand delivers the flowers, meaning they are well cared for from the moment we arrange them to the moment they arrive at your doorstep.

Can I order flowers via phone?

Certainly, you can contact us to order flowers over the phone (+353 1 8494324). We will, however, require a credit card number for payment. We can run the transaction whilst you are on the phone to give you total assurance that everything has been smooth and successful.

How much does it cost to deliver flowers?

Flower delivery to the Greater Dublin area is €8.00. For deliveries beyond Dublin, €10.

How can I purchase my order - what payment types do you accept?

We accept all credit card payments through our Stripe facility, Apple Pay and PayPal.

Do you provide an invoice for my flower purchase?

Indeed we do. An invoice will be automatically emailed to the address you provide when filling out the order details.

How do you protect my payment details?

Delivery information

Do you deliver anywhere in Ireland?

We certainly do deliver flowers anywhere in Ireland! Our same-day service covers the Greater Dublin area, but we can cover most places in the country for next-day deliveries.

Do you deliver same day?

Yes, we deliver same-day flowers around Greater Dublin, provided your order is received before our cut-off (see below!).

What is the cut-off for same-day flower delivery?

You need to place an order before 1 pm (13:00) local Dublin time for same-day delivery.

Help! I need an urgent delivery - do you deliver in two hours?

You can contact our head office and see if this is possible.

Do you accept orders and make deliveries on Sundays? Not only on special Sundays like Mothers’ Day etc?

Only on special occasions – please contact our team and let’s have a chat.

Can I choose a future delivery date?

Yes, of course. Our online booking system allows you to select a delivery date well into the future should you wish.

Why do I need to provide an Eircode?

An Eircode ensures a correct way of locating your flower delivery address. Whilst it might seem trivial in urban areas, this is essential for country Ireland, so our delivery person doesn’t get lost in laneways looking for an elusive address!

Do you deliver to workplaces?

Yes, we certainly deliver to workplaces, although we will require a name and contact number for the recipient. Please give us any special instructions, such as what to do upon arrival at the front desk. In some instances, we may be required to leave the bouquet with reception.

Do you deliver to hospitals?

Unfortunately, hospitals have made it very difficult for any flower deliveries as staff, understandably, do not have time to accept goods on patients’ behalf. So why not have us deliver to you or someone else you know will be visiting the patient, and they can get their blooms that way?

Do you deliver to funerals?

We understand this is a difficult time, so we work to make funeral flower ordering and delivery as seamless as possible. We recommend you send your thoughtful tribute either to the funeral parlour director, clearly stating whose funeral they will be for, or to the deceased’s family home. You can do this by giving us the relevant address in the delivery section of the checkout process. By all means, we are available to talk to you and make this as simple as possible so that your focus is rightly elsewhere.

What happens if nobody is there to receive the flowers?

If nobody is there to receive the flowers, we will leave the flowers with a neighbour or return the item and let you know.

Can I track my flowers?

Not yet, but it’s something we are working on!

Will you notify me so I know that the flowers have been delivered?

Yes – we will let you know when your order is dispatched and delivered via the email you provided when you complete the delivery details.

I received flowers for mothers day from Arbour Blooms Florist. Unfortunately they were damaged during delivery. I was contacted by a lovely guy from Arbour Blooms offering to replace the bouquet with a new one. I cannot fault their customer service. Thank you for the kind gesture.
